Most laptop computers do not meet the minimum standards as outlined in the Display Screen Equipment Regulations.
Usually the screen cannot be adjusted nor does the keyboard promote user comfort. Laptop computers are therefore not very posture friendly and prolong use should be avoided unless used with a separate screen, keyboard and mouse. Docking stations are available for this purpose and will help you comply with the regulations. Other risks to laptop users are manual handling from lifting and carrying equipment. Also the risk of violence from possible theft of equipment.
