First Aid Kits

A risk assessment should be carried out to ensure adequate items are included in your first aid kit and an appointed person should ensure that first aid kits are fully stocked at all times.
A guide for the minimum contents of a basic first aid kit in an office environment would normally include the following items;
  • 1 x leaflet 'Basic advice on first aid at work'.
  • 20 x individually wrapped sterile adhesive dressings (assorted sizes).
  • 2 x sterile eye pads.
  • 4 x individually wrapped sterile triangular bandages.
  • 6 x safety pins.
  • 6 x medium individually wrapped sterile undedicated wound dressing.
  • 2 x large sterile individually wrapped undedicated wound dressings.
  • 1 x pair disposable gloves.
