| A register of the fire extinguishers, locations and inspection dates should be held. | ||||||
| Weekly - fire extinguishers should be inspected to ensure they are in their designated locations, are unobstructed and have not suffered any visible damage. | ||||||
| Yearly - fire extinguishers should be serviced in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. A competent person i.e. the supplier should only carry out the service. The date of the service should be marked on the extinguisher. | ||||||
