| All accidents within the company
should be recorded in the company accident book.
Accident books are published by the HSE (Health & Safety Executive) and can be purchased from http://shop.officecontrol.co.uk. The new style books have been introduced as there is a problem with the older versions with regards Data Protection. When making an entry in old style books you are able to view details of existing entries including access to personal details and information. The Information Commissioner has ruled that this is an infringement of the Data Protection Act. Companies should ensure they have the new style books. |
