Safety Inspections:

In-house safety inspections of the workplace should be conducted on a monthly basis or as designated by risk assessment.

Safety inspections are normally carried out in the form of a walk around.

The purpose of these inspections is to ensure safety practices are being adhered to and any non-compliance issues recorded.

If any corrective action is required this should be noted and include the name of the person tasked with taking this action.

Corrective action from the previous inspection should be checked to ensure completion. Any corrective action rolled over should be noted.

On completion of the Safety Inspection Form. Copies of the form should be issued to all concerned parties.
